The Scranton Area Community Foundation and its Women In Philanthropy group hosted the Women in Philanthropy 2022 Civic Engagement Summit at The Century Club of Scranton. We had the pleasure of meeting professionals in NEPA to come together to discuss critical topics in civic engagement and advocacy, the tools and resources necessary to encourage voter participation in the community and engaging in discussions on inspiring others to make a difference in our community.

I met Julie Sidoni former WNEP newscaster and current WVIA News Director, who was the keynote speaker of the event as well as Laura Ducceshci, President and CEO of The Scranton Area Foundation. It was also wonderful meeting Vince Stango, Executive Vice President & COO of the National Constitution Center (NCC), a private nonprofit organization in Philadelphia that illuminates constitutional ideals and inspires active citizenship.
