Lackawanna Holiday Angels. Julie Bower is a 12 year old who started Lackawanna Holiday Angels with her mom Pearl Yanick and sponsor Tomasina Evans (pictured above). The non-profit coordinates gift donations during the Christmas season to families in need. It was truly amazing to see how many individuals in the community stepped up to donate gifts to others. GCU was proud to sponsor this truly grassroots effort to help families in need directly in the communities we serve. Local efforts like this wonderful non-profit truly shows that we can make a difference together one little bit at a time.
