Alexander John Brayer received the Mysteries of Initiation during Divine Liturgy at St. John Chrysostom Church in Pittsburgh on Sunday April 21. Alexander is the infant son of Jeffrey & Mary (Harbist) Brayer and the brother of 3-year-old Nicholas. His godparents are Katherine Harbist and her fiancé, Jeffrey Mikus. Alexander’s maternal grandparents are GCU Compliance Director John Harbist and his wife, Elizabeth (Tihey) Harbist. His great-grandparents are Frank & Marianne Harbist. Alexander joins the rest of the Harbist Family as a GCU member. Following Divine Liturgy parishioners and guests enjoyed refreshments in the social hall.
