Tom & Linda Oslick Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary
Tom & Linda Oslick celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on January 31, 2020. The couple recently traveled to Bermuda and also cruised down the Rhine River in Europe.
Tom & Linda were married at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church in Penn Hills, PA on January 31, 1970 by the late Very Rev. Archpriest Dennis M. Bodga of the Byzantine Rite and concelebrant Reverend Fr. Thomas O'Neil of the Roman Catholic Church.
Tom worked as an accountant for the Peoples Natural Gas company for 28 years, Sears and the Penn Hills Police Department as a crossing guard.
Linda worked as a nurse at UPMC Penn Plum Family Medicine for 25 years, Citizen General Hospital and taught Medical Assisting at a vocational school.
The couple loves to travel, visiting many countries around the world. They have visited Australia, New Zealand, Rome, Ireland, Hawaii and cruised down the Rhine River from Amsterdam to Germany. They have also enjoyed trips to Mexico, the Caribbean, Costa Rico and their favorite was a family vacation with 13 family members to Walt Disney World Park and Disney Cruise in 2011.
They both are very active volunteers at the Penn Hills Senior Center, Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, St. Bart’s Roman Catholic Church and with the GCU. The Oslick family is very active participating in many of the GCU’s fraternal activities.
The couple has three children: sons Tom Jr. (Gina) and William (Vicki) and children Payton & Kaitlyn, and a daughter Teresa Allshouse (Tim) and children Timmy Jr., Casey and Gracie. Their grandchildren are all members of the GCU.
A celebration to commemorate this very special occasion was held at Hoffstot's Restaurant in Oakmont, PA.
GOD has truly blessed them with a long and fulfilling 50 years of marriage.
