Sarah Slusark Graduates from Temple University
Sarah Elisabeth Slusark of Duryea, PA graduated in May from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Sarah made the Dean’s list during the Spring 2021 semester. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree through the Therapeutic Recreation program in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Sarah will further her education this Fall at the University of Scranton working towards her master’s degree in Health Care Management.
While at Temple, Sarah was involved in the “Love Your Melon” organization. Profits from the group’s efforts assisted disabled children. Sarah also worked at summer camps in NJ assisting blind children. She was employed at Temple University in the Departmen of Rehabilitation Sciences as a student assistant to the professors throughout her four year collegiate career and recently accepted a position in the University of Scranton’s Department of Health Care Management.
Sarah is a member of Lodge 17 and has been a recipient of the GCU scholarship throughout college. She resides with her parents Elaine & Joseph Slusark and her brother Joe in Duryea, PA.
