Quinn Margaret Lusk Receives Her Sacraments

Fifth Generation GCU Member
Quinn Margaret Lusk arrived on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 to proud parents Dr. Stephen and Dr. Lauren Lusk. Quinn received the sacraments of Baptism, Chrismation and Holy Eucharist during the Divine Liturgy at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Toms River, NJ on October 14, 2018, where Fr. Francis Rella is pastor.

Dr. Patrick O’Halloran, her great-uncle and Margot Gumerlock her great-aunt served as Quinn’s Godparents. Quinn wore her mother’s baptismal gown, which was tailored from her maternal grandmother’s wedding gown.

Celebrating with Quinn on this very special day were, her brother Nikolai Daniel Lusk, her grandparents, Mark & Mary K. Bannworth, who is currently serving as District 7 President, great-grandmother Margaret Gumerlock and her aunt Leigh Mary Bannworth. All of the family members are Lodge 340 members. She is also the great-great granddaughter of the late Mary Zavacky, who was the family’s first American GCU member, dating back to the early 1900’s.
A brunch in Quinn’s honor was held in the parish hall.
God grant her many, many years!
