Peggy Duker Chabala Celebrates 90th Birthday

Peggy Duker Chabala, retired first Fraternal Director of the GCU, recently celebrated her 90th birthday on December 5, 2024.
Hosted by her daughter Marilyn Bonaparte and her granddaughter Brooke Bonaparte Pingenot, a catered High Tea Party was held at Marilyn’s home, where Peggy resides in Prosper, TX.
A gathering of close friends spent an enjoyable afternoon remembering how and when Peggy’s newfound acquaintances, upon her move to Texas eight years ago, became her close friends.
A display chart comparing what events were relevant in 1934, the year Peggy was born, compared to the present, provided an interesting discussion, with plenty of laughs because of various generational guests.
A champagne toast with birthday cake, and the singing of Happy Birthday, ended a delightful birthday celebration.
Happy Birthday wishes to my Mother, a woman who has brought much love, happiness, strength and wisdom to our family. May God continue to grant her many years!
