Lynn Oslick Realizes a Dream with Her Horse Psyche

Cheyenne & Lynn Oslick

The year 2019 proved to be very special for the mother daughter pair of Lynn and Cheyenne in the sport of endurance riding. Lynn's competition horse Kenlyn Psyche was awarded the prestigious Mountain Region Endurance Riders Hall of Fame Horse Award. As a team Lynn and Psyche have accumulated 7435 total miles, 5380 endurance miles and 2055 limited distance miles in 198 starts. The horse and rider team completed 179 of those starts with 70% of those finishing in the top 10, seven best conditions, nine wins, a Tevis Cup Completion, a Decade Team and Pard’ners Award. This is an amazing accomplishment for one horse. He has quite the career and at the age of 21 is still going strong down the trail.

Junior rider Cheyenne was awarded the Mountain Region Endurance Riders Junior Rookie of the Year for the second year in a row. She rides the handsome Arabian SA Grey Knight (aka Mr. Grey). Cheyenne is looking forward to the upcoming riding season and hopes to ride right out of "rookie" status.

Mother and daughter enjoy riding together thru some of the most scenic, untouched and remote areas of the country. There is no better way to see and appreciate the beauty of our country than from the back of a horse. Lynn and Cheyenne are members of GCU Lodge 144 and the daughter and granddaughter of National Director John & MaryEllen Oslick.
