Barb Dzuricsko was recently inducted into the Pennsylvania High School Track & Field Hall of Fame as a “Contributor.” Her contributions include: being an outstanding athlete who placed at the 1974 & 1975 State Track Meet at Penn State University; being an excellent head coach at Hickory High School for 30 years which included several District 10 and state championships; being a long time Track & Field Meet Director for District 10 and the City of Hermitage Invitational; and now serving as a PIAA Track & Field and Cross Country Official. The induction took place on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Shippensburg University during the 2022 PIAA Track and Field State Championship Meet, where Barb and her husband Bill worked the Triple Jump event. Bill presented the award to Barb. The Dzuricskos are members of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church in Hermitage, PA and GCU Lodge 258.
