St. Valentine’s Party & Wellness Program
Lodge 93 sponsored a St. Valentine’s Party and a wellness program at St. John Byzantine Church. All ladies received a Valentine box of chocolate. The wellness theme included tips on lower back pain, neck pain, headaches, blood pressure and cholesterol. Refreshments were served and door prizes were drawn. Everyone liked the wellness theme and tips.

Lenten Soup Party
Lodge 93 sponsored a Lenten Soup Party after the Liturgy of Pre-Sanctified Gifts. All were invited to the social hall for soup. The soups included mushroom and Lenten chili. Special thanks to the soup chefs. Fr. Vasil Polyak, pastor of St. John Byzantine Church, presented the “Forty Days of Lent,” a discussion on Eastern and Western Lenten customs. The soup party was held every other week during Lent with a change of soup menu. Fr.

St. Patrick Day Social
Lodge 93 sponsored a St. Patrick’s Day social after Liturgy on Sunday, March 17. Desserts and refreshments were served. John Katana had a presentation on the history and legends of St. Patrick. Birthdays and anniversaries were also recognized. Door prizes were then drawn.

Basket Raffle
Lodge 93 sponsored a basket raffle to help defray the cost of repairing the collapsed wall in front of St. John Byzantine Church. There were a variety gift baskets included: gift cards, Easter baskets, small appliances, house wares, children's gifts, outdoor landscaping items, as seen on TV gifts, luggage, TV’S and many other useful items for the home. A complimentary light lunch was offered. Pastor Fr. Vasil Polyak and Helen Kost pulled the tickets while John Katana announced the winners. Door prizes were also drawn. A thank you to the Home Office for supporting our activity through the Matching Funds program and with promotional items.
