Many Helping Hands Clean & Organize Parish Building and Grounds
Temperate weather and a good turnout helped St. Nicholas parish recently achieve some goals for their church building and landscape.
Lodge members and parishioners of Clinton Township, MI based St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church lent their hands and hearts to care for the building and grounds on Parish Beautification Day, Saturday, May 4.
Six hours of some heavy lifting, elbow grease and coordinated teamwork yielded a cleaner garage, boiler room and landscaped areas.
The group took a break for lunch, courtesy of Lodge 860 through a Helping Hands Fraternal Grant, which also helped cover the cost of supplies for the event.
