Salvation Army Donation
Lodge 47 members Daria Shierly and Dottie Bakalar met with Salvation Army case manager Heather Main on February 5, 2019 to present her with a $600.00 Matching Funds check from the Angel Tree Project following the Lodge 47 collection of toys in December 2018. For the second consecutive year, the Matching Funds check will be used to support Salvation Army’s bread distribution program, soup kitchen, food pantry and breakfast/dinner services in the Greater Binghamton Community.

National Junior Bowling Tournament
Whether it was your first time on the lanes like 4 year old Nathan Bakalar or you’re a veteran like his 17 year old cousin Sarah Kumpon, the GCU National Junior Bowling Tournament on March 10, 2019 at Laurel Lanes in Binghamton, NY encourages that bowling rolls on!
Joining Nathan and Sarah were participants Jacob Cipar, Isaiah Ruck-Decker, Raegan Merges and Amelia & Julianna Wills, who filled the day with smiles, laughter and camaraderie to make this annual event a favorite for Lodge 47.
The afternoon began with the junior bowlers treated to pizza, soda, popcorn, snacks and fruit. Parents, grandparents, spectators and friends also joined in the festivities and fraternalism. Afterward, each bowler was given a McDonald’s gift card along with goodies from the GCU Home Office.
Everyone enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and positive experience… a perfect combination with extra fun to spare!
Lodge 47 extends a special Thank You to all who participated, everyone who attended to cheer on our junior bowlers, District 5 and the Home Office. We always appreciate the support and are very thankful.
