St. Nicholas Brunch
On Sunday, December 9, 2018, members of Lodge 316 joined with parishioners of SS. Peter & Paul Church to host a Christmas Brunch in honor of St. Nicholas. Following Liturgy, everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared by church members. After breakfast, everyone sang Christmas carols and about that time, Santa arrived. The children were thrilled. They all had a chance to talk with Santa and the parents were able to get photos. As the children were saying goodbye to Santa, they had another surprise. St. Nicholas came to visit. All the children gathered around St. Nicholas and more pictures were taken. It was a busy morning for all! Thank you to the volunteers who made this day special and thank you to the GCU for the Fraternal Grant for this event and providing giveaways for the children and adults.
The week following the Christmas Brunch, President Ann Wilkins and her brother Bill Kravchak visited homebound members of Lodge 316 and the parish. They arrived with beautiful poinsettias and delicious Christmas cookies baked by Ann. Everyone enjoyed the holiday visits.
Happy New Year to all!
