Helping Hands Event
Lodge 182 in conjunction with the ECF teachers, parents and children of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Kingston, PA held a Helping Hands Day on December 22, 2019. ECF students made beautiful ornaments, with the help of Lodge 182 members and teachers, to decorate the Christmas trees in the church. The ornaments were hung by the children and the group helped to prepare the church for the Christmas season. Pews were dusted, books in the pews were put in order and the rest of the church was dusted and cleaned to the best of their ability. A pizza party was held for all the volunteers. Thank you to all who helped to make this event successful.

Christmas Pageant

The play included angels, camels, donkeys, shepherds, Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, the 3 Kings, and of course The Little Drummer Boy. It truly was a great success and the costumes keep improving every year. All who attend mass on Christmas Eve at St. Mary have come to expect and enjoy a great performance and are dnever disappointed! Great job everyone!
Many thanks to St. Nicholas (Butch Kosmach) for leading the pack and to Jenn Terza, John Seasock and all the other cantors involved in the beautiful singing of Christmas carols essential to the play’s success. Thank you to Laura Seasock, Barb Zelnick and Laure Marcin, pageant directors and to Father Mykhaylo Prodanets.
