Jeremy Stephenson Named New GCU COO

Jeremy Stephenson has joined the GCU Executive team as the Chief Operations Officer. He assumed the role in June 2024. Jeremy will oversee life insurance and annuity operations, driving efficiency, scalability and profitability. Jeremy leads strategic planning, operational management and team development efforts.

Before joining GCU, Jeremy accumulated over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He held key roles at companies such as Midland National Life Insurance (AKA Sammons Financial Group) and ING. His responsibilities included overseeing various operational functions such as call centers, IT, mail rooms, back-office processing and business development.

Jeremy earned his MBA in Organizational Leadership from Excelsior University and holds multiple industry licenses—including his state insurance license, four securities licenses with FINRA and five designations from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).

Recently relocating from Des Moines, IA, Jeremy now resides near the GCU Home Office in Beaver, PA.
